ARCHIVE CREATIVITY CELEBRATION: community through digital empowering

Are you interested in Archive filmmaking?

Archive Creativity CelebrationThe Emerald Tablet invites you to an evening of archive creativity on behalf of “Movie Lab“, the first of many workshops on the nature of digital archives and the creative process. For 5 weeks, participants have engaged with film material from Archive.org and explored the many expressive possibilities of Reappropriation and Digital Gleaning that they allow.

Its creators, Lur Olaizola and Enrique Fibla, will present the results of this exploration of the creative possibilities of digital film archives, and invite you to the presentation of “Archive Lab”, a platform that aims to create community around digital empowering through different workshops and the possibility of uploading one’s creations into a user account.

The evening will conclude with a reading of Archive Lab’s manifesto and an “Archive showcase” of music and video projections from the archive, with delicious complimentary snacks and a bar by donation.

Come join us and become part of the common creativity of the future!
