HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND GENDER JUSTICE: social justice month presentation

The Emerald Tablet is very pleased to host acclaimed director Jeffrey D. Brown (SOLD) and other special guests in a discussion of human trafficking and related issues on the occasion of Social Justice Month. Please join us on Sunday, November 9th at 7 pm for a free evening of music, ideas, and poetry.

Jeffrey D. Brown is a film/television director, film producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for the directing, producing and writing the short film Molly’s Pilgrim, for which he won an Academy Award in 1986 for Academy Award for Live Action Short Film.

Also present will be Beverly Allen, author of Rape Warfare, director of the humanities doctoral program at Syracuse University and a prominent advocate of women’s rights.

Joining Brown and Allen are hosts Mahnaz Badihian and Agneta Falk, as well as the following:
