JAZZ IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Guarneri Jazz Quartet

Please join us on Friday, September 12th at 8pm for an evening of live music with Jazz in the Neighborhood, featuring the Guarneri Jazz Quartet!

Mario GuarneriJazz in the Neighborhood is proud to present the Guarneri Jazz Quartet. The group will present an evening exploring the music of Monk as selected by each member of the quartet, plus some Guarneri originals inspired by Thelonius Monk. Joining Mario Guarneri on trumpet will be Akira Tana on drums, Randy Vincent on guitar, and Sam Bevan on bass. The youth showcase will feature the Brubeck Institute Ensemble—the nationally-recognized jazz group from University of the Pacific. More info on them here.

Since 2012, The Emerald Tablet has hosted top notch jazz evenings every second Friday under the stewardship of master trumpet player and teacher Mario Guarneri, and his organization Jazz in the Neighborhood.
