TreeSisters is an audacious campaign fuelled by the love and creativity of every-day women. We are building a global network to help reforest the tropics within 10 years, and we’re just getting started. If you want to see this vision become a reality, then step in now and help us grow the roots! We need you, please join us at the Emerald Tablet on Saturday, November 16th to meet Treesister founder Clare Dakin.

Started by Clare Dakin after she crashed into a tree (watch the video at the bottom of the page to hear the fascinating story, fastforward at 5:00), TreeSisters is a registered charity (No.1149961) that is supporting the emergence of a global network of women committed to healing their relationship to each other and the Earth. Our focus is to support one another to harness our creativity, connections and resources toward reforesting the tropics within the next 10 years by (1) developing educational and organizational tools to mobilize women’s attention and leadership; and (2) directing grassroots funds toward tree-planting projects managed by our first organizational partners: Project Greenhands, and the Greenbelt Movement
To become a supporter of the TreeSister project, please go to their website and sign up! The Emerald Tablet has been a proud supporter for over a year now!
